The Abra High School Robotics Team’s disinfection device is equipped with a fisheye camera that allows recording in 360-degree panoramic view for its broadcast system. A fisheye lens is an ultra-wide-angle lens that produces strong visual distortion intended to create a wide panoramic or hemispherical image. Fisheye cameras achieve extremely wide angles of view at lower maintenance costs.

The solar panel attached to the robot is used for a guaranteed smart and clean energy usage. Solar power is pollution-free and causes no greenhouse gases to be emitted. It is virtually no maintenance as solar panels can last for over 30 years.

Viste and Seruno with four other members of the Abra High’s Robotics Team led by coach Jephunneh Gasmen are now preparing for the World Robot Games to be held virtually on March 25-28, 2021.
Congratulations, Abra High School Robotics Team, and the coaches! We wish you good luck with your next competition!
