114-year-old Igorota may be One of the Oldest People in the World | Igorotage

Meet Apo Gayamen, the oldest Igorota (Igorot woman) from Panabungen, Laylaya, Besao, Mountain Province. Luisa “Gayamen” Balangyao is the oldest living person in Besao at the age of 107. Although some of her neighbors claim that she is at least 114 years old, documents show that she was born on April 13, 1910. UPDATE: In October 2017, Apo Gayamen passed away. We’d like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family. She is an inspiration. May her soul be at peace with our Heavenly Father!
